Lok Sabha Election 2024 Results: A big upset is seen in Uttar Pradesh. In this, All India Alliance has taken lead in 41 seats. Whereas NDA is getting lead in 36 seats. 


Congress is ahead in Amethi, Raebareli. Samajwadi Party is ahead in Ayodhya Faizabad. Rahul Gandhi is contesting from Raebareli. In Amethi, Kishori Lal Sharma of Cong is ahead of BJP's Smriti Irani.


In Bihar, NDA alliance is currently leading in 25 seats. Whereas Lalu Yadav's party RJD is leading in 8 seats.


In the trends of Rajasthan, BJP is seen to be in a big loss. In Rajasthan, BJP is leading in 13 seats, whereas Congress is leading in 12 seats.


In the trends of Chhattisgarh, BJP is seen to be in a loss. In Chhattisgarh, BJP is leading in 8 seats, whereas Congress is leading in 4 seats.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
