Hearing the petition related to 'National Eligibility cum Entrance Test' i.e. NEET, the Supreme Court has issued notices to the Central Government and the National Testing Agency (NTA), the body responsible for conducting the exam.
A petition has been submitted to the Supreme Court seeking the cancellation of the NEET UG-2024 exam due to an alleged paper leak.
The Supreme Court is set to address this issue alongside other related petitions on July 8.
The Supreme Court has currently rejected the demand to stop the counseling of NEET. That is, counseling will continue.
The Supreme Court has denied the request to halt NEET counseling, meaning the counseling process will proceed as planned.
National Testing Agency's Director General, Subodh Kumar Singh, addressed concerns surrounding the 'National Eligibility cum Entrance Test' during a press conference on Saturday, June 8.
Subodh Kumar stated that there were no instances of a paper leak during the NEET exam. He also mentioned that approximately 1600 students encountered issues at 6 exam centers during the NEET exam.
Following the announcement of the NEET exam results on June 4, 2024, several allegations have emerged questioning the proper conduct of the exam, which took place on May 5.
