NTA postpones CSIR-UGC-NET exam 2024 amid uproar over paper leak


The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the CSIR-UGC-NET exam 2024. This exam was to be conducted from 25 to 27 June 2024.


Issuing a statement, NTA has said that the exam is being postponed due to unavoidable circumstances and logistical difficulties.


NTA has said that the candidates will be informed about the new date of the exam soon.


NTA has asked the candidates to keep visiting its official website csirnet.nta.ac.in for the latest information.


CSIR UGC NET exam is a national level eligibility test. Through this, eligible candidates are selected for Junior Research Fellow and Lectureship and Assistant Lectureship.


The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and the University Grants Commission together conduct this exam in collaboration with NTA.


UGC-NET exam was cancelled


Earlier, UGC-NET June 2024 exam was cancelled. The central government took this decision to maintain the transparency of the examination process. Also, it has been decided to hand over the matter to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for in-depth investigation of the matter.


Many questions raised on NEET-UG


In response to ongoing concerns regarding NEET-UG, the entrance examination for undergraduate medical programs, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan reiterated his commitment to ensuring fairness for all students. He emphasized that strict measures will be taken against any wrongdoing, with no exceptions.


India's main opposition party Congress on Friday protested in most parts of the country against the alleged paper leak .
