T20 World Cup 2024: Rohit Sharma set these two records as India enters Last 4


In the T20 World Cup 2024, India reached the semi-finals by defeating Australia by 24 runs in the match played in West Indies. Now India will face England on 27 June in the semi-finals.


In this match,  Rohit Sharma made remarkable achievements. He became first batsman to hit 200 sixes in T20.


Rohit scored only 6 runs in his first 5 balls. But after this, he showed tremendous attacking attitude and thrashed the bowlers bowling from both ends.

In the third over of the innings against Mitchell Starc, Rohit hit 4 sixes and a four. Starc gave 29 runs in this over.


Rohit Sharma scored 50 runs in 19 balls in this match. This is the fastest half century of his T20 International career. Rohit scored a half century in the 5th over of the Indian innings.

This is also the fastest half century of this T20 World Cup. Rohit had earlier scored a half century against West Indies in 22 balls. When Rohit Sharma reached his 50 runs, the Indian team's total was 52. This included one wide and one run scored by Pant.


Rohit Sharma played an innings of 92 runs in 41 balls. In this, he hit seven fours and eight sixes.

During his innings, Rohit Sharma set two records. He now holds the record for hitting the most sixes against a single opponent in an international match.


Additionally, he became the first batsman to hit 200 sixes in T20 matches.
