Banking, shares, airlines and other IT services were affected worldwide on Friday due to a problem in Microsoft servers.
Shares of CrowdStrike, a company looking after cyber security in Microsoft servers, opened 15 percent down on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange in New York.
The cyber security company suffered a loss of $12.5 billion due to the fall in share prices.

CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz has apologized for the disruption of IT services worldwide due to a glitch in Microsoft's servers.
George Kurtz said, "We know what the issue is...and we have resolved the issue." When asked how long it will take for users to get back to normal, he said, "It may take a little longer for some systems that will not recover on their own, it will take some time for the system to recover."

More than 1,400 flights were cancelled or delayed across the world.
At Delhi's IGI airport, handwritten boarding passes were issued and flight information was handwritten on the boards.
Due to this technical glitch, the operation of air services was disrupted all over the world and chaos was seen at airports.
More than 3,300 flights were cancelled across the world and passengers faced delays in many flights.
