Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the innovation of the naturally cleaning pond water in the Neer Navjeevan project is exemplary. This will automatically purify water through fountains, trees, plants, and suitable organisms. This technology is economical, and its impact and importance is very high in the present circumstances. Dr. Yadav said this is a wonderful initiative to mend the deterioration of water due to the current lifestyle.
This project was started by Ishna Aggarwal, a class 12th student, with the help of District Administration and Municipal Corporation Bhopal. CM Dr. Yadav congratulated Ishna Agarwal for this initiative. CM Dr. Yadav said this at the inauguration of the Neer Navjeevan Project at Lake Children’s Garden located near 5 Number.
CM Dr. Yadav planted a banyan sapling in the garden and set floating wetlands afloat in the lake. Local MP Alok Sharma, Mayor Malti Rai, MLA Bhagwan Das Sabnani, and public representatives were present.
Construction technique of Bhopal’s Upper Lake is inspiring even today
CM Dr. Yadav said that the natural beauty of Bhopal is a special blessing. The beauty of Bhopal increases further during the rainy season. The ponds, lakes, and the Upper Lake formed a thousand years ago have amazing views. The city's attraction is such that one who comes to Bhopal wants to stay here forever. The Upper Lake of Bhopal is the best example of dam construction. The technology of its construction is inspiring even today.
Ishna explains the technique of preserving the lake naturally and scientifically
Ishna Aggarwal of Neer Navjeevan Project said that in the project started with the aim of rejuvenating the Bal Udyan, the lake will be preserved naturally and scientifically. Four floating wetlands and 8 biofilters consisting of 8 plants are being installed in the lake.
To improve the water quality, 2 floating aerators have also been installed. 208 kg bio culture will be planted in the next 3 months. This will automatically purify the water. The surrounding environment will remain clean and the ecological balance of the area will remain. The number of visitors to the park will increase and children will have a beautiful and clean place to play.
Expressing his gratitude, former Rajya Sabha member Raghunandan Sharma said that this is a small but very effective effort for environmental protection under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. These kinds of activities should be expanded for the conservation of aquatic structures.
