Supreme Court Upholds NEET UG Entrance Exam, What Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Said?

The Supreme Court has affirmed that there is no need to reconduct the NEET UG entrance exam for admission to medical colleges, a decision that has been warmly received by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

In a post on the social media platform X, Pradhan expressed his support for the Supreme Court's ruling, stating, "The cloud of lies can hide the sun of truth for some time, but truth always wins." He emphasized the court's stance that the integrity of the NEET UG exam has not been compromised and that the demand for a re-examination has been rightly dismissed.

Pradhan reiterated the government's dedication to ensuring a mistake-free and transparent examination process. He assured that the recommendations from a committee of experts would be implemented promptly to uphold these standards.

Expressing gratitude towards the Supreme Court, Pradhan said, "We heartily thank the Supreme Court for doing justice and protecting the interests of lakhs of students. We will implement the decision of the Honorable Supreme Court to the letter."
