Modi At Quad Summit: PM's stress on regional stability and security

 


PM Modi At Quad Summit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived on his three-day visit to America. On the first day of the visit, he participated in the Quad Summit. PM Modi said that an independent and free Indo-Pacific region is a common priority of all countries. He also said that this important meeting is taking place at a time when the world is surrounded by tensions and conflicts. Today (September 22), PM Modi will hold a round table meeting with the CEOs of US companies working on cutting-edge technologies like quantum computing and semiconductors.


PM's stress on regional stability and security


The Prime Minister on this occasion emphasized the importance of regional stability and security, as well as the need to promote cooperation among all Quad countries. He said that India is not against any country. PM Modi also held separate bilateral talks with US President Joe Biden and other global leaders. Apart from the US, the Quad includes India, Australia and Japan.


PM's meeting with Biden


Earlier, a bilateral meeting was held between PM Modi and US President Joe Biden. Modi had arrived at Biden's house in Greenville, Delaware. US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan told the media that the Ukraine war and China's activities in the region were also discussed in this conversation. President Biden praised PM Modi's visit to Poland and Ukraine.


Modi will address the Indian community in New York


Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Indian community in New York on Sunday 22 September. He has given this information on 'X'. In his post, PM Modi wrote - The Indian community has made its own identity in America. Indians have made a positive impact in various fields. It is always a pleasure to interact with them. On Sunday, September 22, at around 9:30 pm Indian time, I will address the 'ModiandUS' program in New York City.
