When will Vande Bharat Sleeper Trains Commence Operation, Ashwini Vaishnav tells

Vande Bharat Sleeper Train: With the introduction of the Vande Bharat train, passengers across India are experiencing a world-class rail service. The train has garnered widespread acclaim from travelers, and now the government is preparing to introduce a new version with sleeper coaches. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav recently announced when the public can expect to start using this new service.

Inspection of Vande Bharat Sleeper Coaches

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav inspected the new Vande Bharat Sleeper coaches at BEML (Bharat Earth Movers Limited) in Bengaluru. Following the inspection, the minister expressed confidence that passenger services with the Vande Bharat Sleeper coaches could begin in about three months. Unlike the existing Vande Bharat trains with chair-car arrangements, the new version will feature only sleeper coaches.

Coach construction completed

The Railway Minister revealed that the construction of the Vande Bharat Sleeper coaches has been completed. He emphasized that the new coaches will soon be leaving the BEML factory, marking the beginning of a new chapter in Indian rail travel. Vaishnav stated, "After the success of the Vande Bharat Chair-Car, we are embarking on another significant journey. The construction and design of the Vande Sleeper coaches were eagerly awaited, and now this phase is complete."

New Features and Enhanced Travel Experience

Vaishnav described the journey of designing the Vande Bharat Sleeper as a challenging yet fulfilling process, noting that creating a new train design is always complex. He highlighted that the Vande Bharat Sleeper train will come equipped with several new features, enhancing the overall travel experience for passengers.

The minister also spoke about other upcoming rail projects such as the Vande Bharat Chair-Car, Vande Sleeper, Vande Metro, and Amrut Bharat, which he believes will collectively transform how people travel across the country. These projects are reflective of an ambitious vision for India's future under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Inauguration of New Facilities at BEML

Earlier in the day, Ashwini Vaishnav laid the foundation stone for a new hangar dedicated to the manufacturing of standard and broad gauge rolling stock at the BEML facility. Following this event, the minister engaged with trainees and employees at the Multi-Disciplinary Divisional Training Institute (MDDTI) in Bengaluru, where he highlighted the government's commitment to modernizing India's rail network and infrastructure.

With the rollout of the Vande Bharat Sleeper coaches, Indian Railways is set to offer a superior travel experience that matches global standards, providing passengers with enhanced comfort and convenience during their journeys.
