Gold and silver have reached their all-time high today i.e. on 21 October. According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold surged by Rs 558, bringing it to Rs 77,968. This marks an increase from the previous day's price of Rs 77,410 per ten grams.
In tandem, silver prices have also climbed significantly, rising by Rs 4,884 to a current price of Rs 97,167 per kg, up from Rs 92,283 the day before. Notably, silver had previously hit an all-time high of Rs 94,280 per kg on May 29.

Gold Projected to Reach Rs 79,000 by Year-End
Anuj Gupta, the Commodity and Currency Head at HDFC Securities, suggests that gold prices are likely to rise due to ongoing geopolitical tensions and the onset of the festive season. He anticipates that by the end of the year, gold could reach as high as Rs 79,000 per 10 grams, while silver may also climb to Rs 1 lakh per kilogram in the coming days.
