Although Aditya Thackeray had won in the last elections, but in the recent assembly elections, Aditya Thackeray was ahead by only 6500 votes. With Deora entering the fray, the electoral journey is not going to be easy for Aditya Thackeray this time. It will be interesting to see who will win in this contest.

Shinde rebelled against the Uddhav Thackeray government in June 2022 and took oath as the Chief Minister with the support of the BJP. In this election, the Mahayuti will have to deal with the challenge of anti-incumbency wave and division of votes. This challenge holds special significance for both the factions.
