Sharda Sinha’s son, Anshuman Sinha, has been keeping the public informed of her critical condition. He revealed that his mother has been under intensive monitoring in the AIIMS ICU, with doctors closely observing her vital signs as they continue to fluctuate. He shared that she was placed on ventilator support the previous evening, adding that her situation remains challenging but that she is fighting the illness with resilience.
“Sharda ji is in critical condition. Doctors are monitoring her in the ICU, they spoke with me. She is on ventilator and still critical. Her vitals are fluctuating a lot. This is very challenging. She too is fighting, I hope she recovers,” Anshuman expressed, revealing the toll this crisis has taken on the family.
PM Modi Offers Personal Support
Amid the uncertainty, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached out to the family, personally assuring Anshuman and extending his prayers for Sharda Sinha’s recovery. The Prime Minister expressed his heartfelt support, urging Anshuman to remain hopeful and stating that the whole nation is standing with them in prayer.
Anshuman shared his gratitude, saying, “PM called us up today, I consider myself fortunate that the country has a PM who speaks on a personal level with even the family. He inquired about her health, I gave him an update. He said that Chhathi Maiya will give her blessings and the entire country is praying for her. He asked me not to lose heart.”
Additionally, the official X handle (formerly Twitter) of AIIMS Delhi confirmed that PM Modi is closely monitoring her condition and remains in direct contact with the doctors treating her.
The hospital’s post stated, “Noted folk singer, Smt. Sharda Sinha is admitted in AIIMS, New Delhi for treatment. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji is continuously monitoring her condition and is in direct contact with the treating doctors. He has conveyed his prayers for her good health and speedy recovery through the treating team."

Anshuman revealed that he initially reached out to the Chief Minister of Bihar, and as a result, the Bihar State Health Department quickly arranged for her immediate medical needs, sending officials to follow up on her condition.
