The highly anticipated Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction will see a total of 574 players go under the hammer, including a surprising 13-year-old talent, Vaibhav Suryavanshi from Bihar. The two-day event is set to take place on November 24 and 25, 2024, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Bidding will commence on Sunday, November 24, starting at 12:30 p.m. local time. This year’s auction promises high stakes as teams strategize and compete to secure the best players for the upcoming IPL season.


Among the 574 shortlisted players, the roster includes both Indian and international talents. 366 players hail from India, with 318 of them being uncapped talents.


Besides, 208 players come from various international cricketing nations, with 12 foreign uncapped players included.


The presence of such a wide array of players provides a mix of experience and fresh talent, catering to franchises looking to build well-rounded teams.


Vaibhav recently scored a century


Talking about Vaibhav Suryavanshi's performance in first-class cricket, he has played 5 matches so far. During this period, he has scored 100 runs in 10 innings at an average of 10 and a strike rate of about 64. His highest score in first class cricket is 41 runs. Recently, Indian Under-19 team batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi achieved a big milestone against Australia A. Vaibhav played an innings of 104 runs in 64 balls. During this, he hit 14 fours and 4 sixes.


Actually, Vaibhav Suryavanshi belongs to Bihar. He belongs to Samastipur, Bihar and is the youngest player in the auction. He has already proved his mettle in Ranji Trophy. Not only this, Vaibhav has played Hemant Trophy, Cooch Behar Trophy and Vinoo Mankad Trophy.
