Counting of votes has started on 81 seats of Jharkhand. In the trends, JMM alliance is leading on 50 seats. This figure is 9 seats more than the majority of 41. BJP alliance is leading on 29 seats. Others are leading on 2 seats.

Voting was held on 81 seats in the state on 13 and 20 November, 68% voting took place. This is the highest voting percentage so far. The majority figure here to form the government is 41.
In the 2019 assembly elections, JMM won 30, Congress 16 and RJD won one seat. There was an alliance of all three parties. Then JMM leader Hemant Soren became the Chief Minister. BJP got 25 seats.
Hemant's wife Kalpana Soren is trailing by 5 thousand votes from Gandey seat. 4 ministers of Soren cabinet Deepika Pandey Singh, Banna Gupta, Mithilesh Thakur and Rameshwar Oraon are trailing.
Three candidates of Soren family, elder daughter-in-law Sita Soren (BJP) Jamtara, younger daughter-in-law Kalpana Soren Gandey and younger son Basant Soren are trailing from Dumka seat. Hemant Soren is leading from Barhet.
