Border-Gavaskar Trophy: Jaspreet Bumrah makes a new record, first Indian fast bowler to achieve this feat


Indian fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah has made a new record in the fourth test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy being played in Melbourne.


Jaspreet Bumrah has become the first Indian fast bowler to take the fastest 200 wickets in Test cricket. Jaspreet Bumrah made this record when he captured the wicket of Travis Head.


Bumrah has taken 200 Test wickets in 44 matches. With this, he has become the second Indian bowler to do so. Indian spin bowler Ravichandran Ashwin had achieved this milestone in 37 matches.
