Aam Aadmi Party has released the second list of candidates for Delhi Assembly elections-2025. This list includes the names of 20 candidates.
Former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia's seat has been changed. He has got a ticket from Jangpura seat. Currently he is an MLA from Patparganj.
Sisodia registered emphatic wins in 2013 and 2015, but could only manage a narrow victory in 2020.
Meanwhile, another big AAP name on the second list is Rakhi Bidlan, the deputy speaker in the Delhi assembly. She will contest from Madipur instead of her current Mangolpuri seat, which has gone to Rakesh Jatav Dharamrakshak.
Awadh Ojha, who recently joined Aam Aadmi Party, has been given a ticket from Patparganj.
Popular UPSC teacher from Uttar Pradesh's Gonda Awadh Ojha, also known popularly as Ojha Sir, had joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) recently. Awadh Ojha is known for his videos for Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exams coaching. His videos became popular due to his unique teaching method of combining historical events, geopolitical trends, and current affairs.
Born in Gonda, Awadh Ojha's mother was a lawyer and father was a government postmaster. He got his early education from the Fatima School in Gonda. Ojha's parents wanted him to become a doctor but his dream was to clear the UPSC exam.
Earlier, Aam Aadmi Party had announced the names of 11 candidates in the first list. This list was released last month.
After the release of Aam Aadmi Party's list, BJP IT cell in-charge Amit Malviya has reacted to it.
He said, "Manish Sisodia, who is close to Arvind Kejriwal had to spend several months in jail in the Delhi liquor policy scam. Now his seat has been changed from Patparganj to Jangpura."
