Farmer organizations of UP have announced to gherao the Parliament. 4-5 thousand farmers will gather in Noida at 12 noon. After this they will march to Delhi. Before this, Delhi-UP police became alert. Farmers are also going to bring tractors with them in this demonstration. However, during this time the police is going to try their best to stop the farmers, for which Delhi Police is fully prepared. Police is also deployed on the border and vigilance is being maintained. Over 4000 cops have been deployed.
Section-163 has been imposed in Noida. Barricading has been done at many places on the Chilli border connecting Delhi-UP. Senior officers have reached the spot.
Vehicles are being checked. Due to this, a long jam of 4-5 kilometers has occurred. Noida Traffic Police has issued an advisory. Many routes have been diverted.
Earlier, on 1 December, i.e. yesterday, the farmers had a meeting with the Noida DM and the CEOs of Greater Noida, Yamuna, Noida Authority regarding their demands. This meeting lasted for 3 hours, but proved to be inconclusive. After this, the farmers announced to march to Delhi.
Noida Additional CP (Law and Order) Shivhari Meena said that more than 4 thousand policemen have been deployed. There is three-tier security. Some farmer leaders have been detained.
Two more organizations will march to Delhi
Other farmer groups like Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and Samyukta Kisan Morcha have also announced that they are also going to march to Delhi from December 6. These farmers are insisting on demands like guarantee of Minimum Support Price (MSP).
