After his defeat in the Vijaypur by-election on a BJP ticket, Ramniwas Rawat voluntarily resigned from his ministerial post in Madhya Pradesh. The reasons behind Rawat’s electoral loss appear rooted in internal party dynamics. Allegedly, two senior BJP leaders who had previously been MLAs from Vijaypur actively opposed his candidacy.
