On Friday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its manifesto, referred to as the 'Sankalp Patra', for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections-2025. This manifesto outlines several key announcements aimed at public welfare.

During the release, Union Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda said that all existing public welfare schemes in Delhi will continue if the BJP forms the government.

Key highlights from BJP's 'Sankalp Patra'

A subsidy of Rs 500 on cooking gas cylinders, with an additional free cylinder provided during the festivals of Holi and Diwali.

Financial assistance of Rs 21,000 for every pregnant woman.

Monthly support of Rs 2,500 for women under the Mahila Samridhi Yojana.

Health coverage of up to Rs 10 lakh for Delhi residents under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana.

An increase in pensions for senior citizens aged 60 to 70 from Rs 2,000 to Rs 2,500, and for those over 70, widows, and destitute women from Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,000.

Provision of full meals at just Rs 5 in all slum clusters through Atal canteens.

What Kejriwal said?

In response, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal slammed the BJP's manifesto.

Kejriwal said, "We will ask all the people of Delhi whether they want Mohalla clinics or not. Those who want Mohalla clinics should vote for Aam Aadmi Party and those who want Mohalla clinics to be demolished should vote for BJP."

Taking a dig at BJP, Arvind Kejriwal said, "Modi ji should tell whether BJP will continue the free bus service that we provide. When all the works of Kejriwal have to be done, then why should BJP be brought in for Kejriwal's works."

According to Arvind Kejriwal, "Not even a single line is written about law and order in the entire Sankalp Patra."
