Delhi Assembly Election 2025: Master Azad Singh upset over denial of ticket from Mundka, makes this announcement

Delhi Assembly Election 2025: All political parties are announcing the names of their candidates for the assembly elections to be held in the capital Delhi. At the same time, leaders upset over not getting the ticket are opening a front against their own party. BJP leader Master Azad Singh has also joined the leaders rebelling against the party.

BJP has not given ticket to Master Azad from Mundka assembly of Delhi. After this, he has intensified the rebellion against the party. He has announced that now he will contest the election as an independent against the BJP. He has confirmed this in the Mahapanchayat organized earlier. Master Azad Singh held a Mahapanchayat among the people of Mundka area and decided to contest the election against BJP.

Master Azad has alleged that the local MP has sold this ticket to an outsider corporation councilor. For this, the Honorable MP has also taken a huge amount from the corporation councilor. The person to whom BJP has given the ticket is a municipal councilor from the area who joined the party after contesting as an independent.

'My whole life was spent as a BJP worker'

While addressing the people in the Panchayat, Master Azad became emotional several times. He says that his whole life was spent as a BJP worker. But BJP did not appreciate him. Master Azad is the younger brother of former Delhi Chief Minister late Sahib Singh Verma and uncle of former MP Pravesh Verma.

Master Azad himself has been a councilor from BJP several times and has also been the Mayor of Delhi. However, the person whom BJP has made its candidate from Mundka is the current municipal councilor Gajendra Daral.

Daral ran for the municipal councilor election as an independent after leaving his party due to not receiving a ticket. He later rejoined the party following his victory. Currently, there are concerns that the decision made by Master Azad may split the votes of the BJP candidate, potentially benefiting other parties. As a result, a competitive contest is anticipated for the Mundka seat.
