Kho-Kho World Cup 2025: Indian women's team clinch title, defeat Nepal in summit clash


The Indian women's team has created history by winning the final match of Kho Kho World Cup 2025 played at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Delhi on Sunday.


The Priyanka Ingle-led Indian team women's team defeated Nepal 78-40 in the final match to win the first Kho-Kho World Cup.


The Indian women's team defeated Nepal by a huge margin of 38 points.


At the same time, the Indian women's team has not lost a single match in this entire tournament.


The Women in Blue took an early lead of 34-0 at the end of turn 1, as they attacked first. Nepal closed in the gap when they attacked, bringing it to 35-24 at the end of turn 2. The visitors were hanging by a thread, but the Women in Blue possibly took it away in turn 3, when they earned 38 more points, taking their lead to 49 points.
