Bhopal: Upper Lake will be center of attraction with display of water sports during GIS: Sailing, kayaking, canoeing, rowing and canoe slalom will give a grand welcome to delegates

Bhopal: During the Global Investors Summit (GIS), Bhopal's Upper Lake will become a center of special attraction with water sports activities. Cooperatives, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang inspected the preparations at the Boat Club and gave necessary guidelines. Sarang informed that on 23, 24 and 25 February, the players of the Water Sports Academy of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department will demonstrate various exciting water sports activities, which will attract delegates from the country and abroad.

Sarang informed that during the summit, the delegates will be welcomed through a grand banner mounted on the sailing boat in Upper Lsfrom the VIP road side. Delegates will be able to watch this unique event from the VIP bridge itself. During this, water sports performances like sailing, kayaking, canoeing, rowing and canoe slalom will be the main attraction. Along with this, special decorations will also be done at the Boat Club.

More than 100 boats will show thrilling performances

Vishwas Sarang said that from 23 to 25 February, a water sports show will be organized in Upper Lake for four hours from 10 am and four hours in the evening. In this, more than 100 players of the Water Sports Academy of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department will showcase their talent. 

Sarang said that Bhopal's Upper Lake is a historical and natural heritage, which will be a golden opportunity to get recognition at the national and international level during the Global Investors Summit. This water sports show organized under the Global Investors Summit will not only enhance the beauty of Bhopal, but will also strengthen its identity among the delegates and investors from the country and abroad.
