Bihar: What Tejashwi Yadav Said on Nitish Kumar's Cabinet Expansion

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expanded his cabinet, prompting a response from former Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav.

Tejashwi Yadav said, "This is the last time Nitish Kumar is expanding the cabinet. Now he is not going to get a chance. The people of Bihar are going to form an NDA-free government in 2025."

He expressed confidence in the upcoming elections, saying, "This time we are fully confident that we will get a chance. People of the whole of Bihar, people of every caste, people of every class, want to take Bihar forward."

Yadav acknowledged Kumar's seniority, saying, "Nitish Kumar is our elder, that's why we respect him. But now he is no longer capable of running Bihar. He is no longer capable. He is tired. There is no vision. They don't have any roadmap."

Tejashwi Yadav concluded with a strong statement: "Whether Narendra Modi comes or someone else comes, Bihar's son and Bihari will take Bihar forward together; no Gujarati from Gujarat is going to come and take Bihar forward."

Tejashwi Yadav said that Bihar, which requires significant financial assistance and special state status, was once again overlooked by the BJP-NDA government in the Union Budget. He pointed out that there was no provision for special state status, no discussions on employment, no allocation for improving health facilities, no arrangements for factories and industries, and no detailed plan to curb migration.

Additionally, he noted the absence of new train services, major investment projects, and special financial assistance for long-term solutions to disasters such as floods and droughts.
