Delhi Election 2025 Results: BJP ahead on 41, AAP on 29 seats

Delhi Election 2025 Results:  Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia made a comeback. But Kejriwal again started trailing by a slim margin. Atishi has started trailing again in Kalkaji. In the initial trends, Kejriwal and Sisodia were continuously trailing, but now both have made a comeback and are leading. Arvind Kejriwal is leading by 254 votes till the second round of counting. Apart from this, AAP candidate Manish Sisodia from Jangpura has also taken the lead. Tarvinder Singh Marwah was leading from this seat, but at present Sisodia has taken the lead. However, these are just initial trends.


Possibility of big upsets in Muslim dominated areas too


While in the initial trends, Aam Aadmi Party was leading in Muslim dominated areas, in the trends till 9.30 am, it is seen lagging behind BJP. AAP candidates are trailing behind BJP on Balli Maran, Karawal and Okhla seats. Experts say that Kejriwal did not campaign in Muslim dominated areas. If AAP continues to lag behind in the trends, then not campaigning in these areas can be termed as a big mistake on Kejriwal's part.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
