New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party government has been formed in the national capital Delhi, the government has now started its work. With the oath taking, CM Rekha and all her ministers are seen in action mode. Rekha government of Delhi has called the first session of the Legislative Assembly, in which the new MLAs will be sworn in, apart from this the CAG report will also be presented.
A 3-day session of the Delhi Legislative Assembly has been called. First of all, the Protem Speaker will be selected after the opinion of the MLAs. After the Speaker is elected, all the elected MLAs will be sworn in in this session. This session is going to be held on 24-25 and 27.
CAG report will be presented in the assembly
It is believed that former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal may face increased challenges in the upcoming first session. This session will see the presentation of the CAG report that has been pending for five years, which includes findings related to the Sheeshmahal and the alleged liquor scam. Reports suggest that the BJP is preparing to target the AAP from the very beginning of this session.
After assuming power in Delhi, the new Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has taken decisive action. She has terminated the services of all personal staff members associated with Atishi's government. This includes the removal of the personal staff of the former Chief Minister and ministers. Additionally, officers and employees who were appointed in other departments by the Aam Aadmi Party government have also been dismissed.
