ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Unbelievable craze for India vs. Pakistan match, how long it took for all tickets to sell out?

Tickets for the highly anticipated match between India and Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 were sold out within minutes of going on sale. This match, part of a hybrid tournament model, is scheduled to take place in Dubai on February 23.

Sales for this high-stakes encounter commenced at 5:30 PM on Monday, with ticket prices starting at 125 dirhams (approximately 2,964 rupees in Indian currency). Premium lounge tickets were priced at 5,000 dirhams, equivalent to around 1,18,000 rupees. As of now, the ICC has not confirmed or denied these ticket sales figures.

Pakistan enters the tournament as the defending champion, having won the title in 2017 by defeating India in the final. The tournament's Group A features teams from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, while Group B includes Australia, South Africa, England, and Afghanistan.

Each team will compete in three league matches, with the top two from both groups advancing to the semi-finals. If India progresses to the semi-finals or finals, these matches will also be held in Dubai.

India's first match against Bangladesh on Feb 20

India's campaign begins against Bangladesh on February 20, with tickets for that match already sold out on the ICC website. The subsequent match against New Zealand on March 2 has also seen all tickets booked.

The Dubai International Cricket Stadium, which has a seating capacity of 25,000, will host all of India's matches. Originally, the Champions Trophy 2025 was slated to take place entirely in Pakistan; however, due to the Indian team's refusal to travel to Pakistan, the tournament is now being held in a hybrid format, with all of India's matches scheduled for Dubai.
