Madhya Pradesh Enhances Tourism with Virtual Tours Through MoU Between MP Tourism & V Real


Bhopal: On Thursday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav led a meeting between the MP Tourism Board and the Finnish organization V Real to explore the integration of modern technology at tourism sites, historical heritage locations, and museums throughout Madhya Pradesh.


Dr. Yadav said that this virtual tour initiative will enable people interested in tourism, history, and culture to experience the rich heritage and illustrious history of Madhya Pradesh from their own countries.


During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed, which aims to promote the state's tourism sites and historical landmarks on a global scale, potentially increasing global tourist visits. The Chief Minister also welcomed Finnish Ambassador to India, Kimmo Lahdevirta, and presented him with a coffee table book highlighting the state's cultural heritage.


Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture, Sheo Shekhar Shukla, noted that V Real has been dedicated to preserving history, culture, and heritage through advanced technology by producing high-quality videos. These virtual tours will be accessible on their platforms for the general public, including travel and educational institutions worldwide.


With the signing of the MoU, comprehensive information about the history and culture of Madhya Pradesh will be available in virtual form globally, significantly enhancing the state's visibility on the international stage. The event was attended by Additional Managing Director of the Tourism Board, Bidisha Mukherjee, CEO of V Real Institute, Shri Johannes Swordstorm, and other officials.
