This month, major festivals are also celebrated. Along with Mahashivratri, the festival of Holi is particularly special during Phalgun. While these festivals are celebrated in the month of Phalgun, the devotion to God during this time also brings many auspicious results.

According to the scriptures, fasting during the month of Phalgun along with worshiping these gods and goddesses is considered very auspicious. It is said that these fasts are fruitful. Let’s explore which gods and deities are especially auspicious to worship during this month.:

Lord Shiva-Mata Parvati

The first festival during the month of Phalgun is Mahashivratri. On this day, it is customary to worship Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. It is said that by meditating on the deities, all wishes are fulfilled. During this month, on the day of Mahashivratri, be sure to chant the miraculous mantra of Lord Shiva, 'Om Namah Shivaya'; all the problems of life will begin to be resolved.

Lord Vishnu

After Mahashivratri, the day dedicated to the worship of Lord Vishnu also arrives, during which many fasts are observed. It is said that if you meditate on Lord Vishnu in the month of Phalgun, happiness, prosperity, peace, and well-being increase. While meditating on Shri Hari, offer sandalwood, akshat, yellow cloth, incense sticks, and flowers to Vishnu ji. Additionally, chant the aarti and mantras of Vishnu ji, as doing so is beneficial.

Lord Krishna-Radha Rani

In the month of Phalgun, it is important to meditate on Lord Krishna and Radha Rani in the forms of Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi. The festival of Faag, i.e., Holi, also occurs in this month. Holi is associated with Lord Krishna, and worshiping Radha Rani and Kanha ji fosters love and happiness in life. The most special enthusiasm for Holi is seen in Mathura, Vrindavan, and Barsana."
