Mahila Samridhi Yojana: Delhi CM Rekha Gupta's Gift to Women on International Women's Day-2025

On the occasion of International Women's Day-2025, Delhi's Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced a major initiative for women. As a celebration of Holi, CM Rekha Gupta has introduced a scheme that will provide Rs 2,500 to every woman in Delhi.

The Mahila Samridhi Yojana was approved during a Cabinet meeting held at the Delhi Secretariat in honor of International Women's Day. JP Nadda is expected to announce the registration date for this initiative, which will benefit women holding Below Poverty Line (BPL) cards.

What Did CM Rekha Gupta Say?

While addressing the public at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Rekha Gupta remarked, "I have been associated with the organization since 1993, and Nadda ji has been our guardian since those days. Coming from a family of three sisters and a brother, I understand the challenges girls face. When I contested the DU elections, my mother said that elections are not for girls, but my father inspired me. It is my party that has supported me and given me the opportunity to engage in mainstream politics and contribute to society."
