Preparations for Miss World 2025 Begin: Meet Nandini Gupta, India's Representative at the Event


Like every year, preparations for the Miss World competition-2025 have started this time too. For the second time in a row, India is going to host the Miss World competition. Earlier, that is, last year also, India had hosted the Miss World competition. Now the schedule of this year's event has also come out.


Actually, this year's event is being organized in Hyderabad and this time the Telangana government is going to host the Miss World competition. It is estimated that Rs 200 crore will be spent for this.


Beauties from 120 countries will participate


However, beauties from 120 countries are going to participate in the Miss World contest and Nandini Gupta is going to participate in it from India. People are very excited to see Nandini. Everyone wants to see whether Nandini is able to do wonders or not. Let us tell you, this contest is going to start from May 7 and run till May 31.


Last year the Miss World contest was held at Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai and this contest was very spectacular. In this, Miss World 2024 title was won by Kristina Piszkova of Czech Republic and Kristina will crown this year's winner.


Nandini is a resident of Kota


On the other hand, Nandini Gupta will represent India. Nandini is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Femina Miss India World 2023. She will represent India at Miss World 2025. At the age of 19, she represented the state of Rajasthan and won Femina Miss India 2023, on 15 April 2023 in Imphal, Manipur.


Nandini is a resident of Kota. She did her schooling from St. Paul Senior Secondary School and completed her graduation from Lala Lajpat Rai College, Mumbai. Nandini has studied business management. Nandini said she dreamt of being Miss India since she was 10.


But amidst all this, there is a controversy in Telangana regarding hosting this year. They have estimated the expenditure to be Rs 200 crore for the event. The opposition party Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) in the state has targeted the government of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. BRS leader KT Rama Rao has said that this is wastage of government money.
