What AAP leader Sanjay Singh said about the ban on meat sale by the UP government

Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh has reacted to the Uttar Pradesh government's order to ban the sale of meat within 500 meters of religious places during Navratri.

Speaking to the media, Sanjay Singh stated, "Yogi Adityanath should add two more things to this order. Close all the restaurants where liquor is sold, regardless of whether they are owned by the BJP or anyone else, and where meat, chicken, or fish is sold, whether it is KFC or McDonald's."

Sanjay Singh further remarked, "In Uttar Pradesh, you will find KFC, McDonald's, and many other shops within 500 meters along the highway. Why should liquor shops, KFC, or McDonald's outlets remain open? The state government should close them too."

On Saturday, on the official X account of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, information was given about the ban on meat sale within 500 meters of religious places during Navratri.

It was told in this post that in Uttar Pradesh, no shopkeeper will sell meat in the open even outside the 500 meter radius of religious places and these shops will run as per the terms of the license.

Apart from this, all meat/fish shops will remain closed on the day of Ram Navami.
