What did the Modi government say?
Modi government said this case should be dismissed. The next hearing is on 31 May. The Hindu side has suffered a major setback due to this recommendation of the Center. Due to the recommendation of the Minority Affairs Ministry, the court postponed Saturday's hearing.
The Ministry said that no basis or evidence has been provided by the Hindu Sena to prove that Ajmer Sharif is a temple. Along with this, the Union of India has also not been made a party. The Hindi translation of the case filed in English has also not been done properly.
‘Evidence in a 110-year-old book’
In this case, a petition was filed in Ajmer Civil Court on behalf of Hindu Sena National President Vishnu Gupta. Gupta said that Ajmer Dargah used to be a Hindu Sankat Mochan temple earlier. He has also given evidence and proof of this in the claim. It was told that in 1910, Har Vilas Sharda's book came, in which evidence of this has also been found.
Many similar documents have been presented before the court by the President of Hindu Sena, in which it is said that Ajmer Sharif Dargah was a Hindu temple. Therefore, the Archaeological Survey of India should be ordered to survey the Dargah. Along with this, the recognition of the Dargah should be canceled and it should be given the recognition of a temple. He has also sought permission for Hindus to worship.
