Alliance between Raj and Uddhav Thackeray: What will be its Implications for Maharashtra's Politics, Will Maha Vikas Aghadi Break?

Raj Thackeray had recently said that for Maharashtra and the Marathi people of the state, I am ready to forget my petty differences with Uddhav. Uddhav  Thackeray also responded positively to this.

After Raj Thackeray's offer, politics has heated up in Maharashtra. Speculations are being made about the future of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance. If there is an alliance between the two brothers, then it is obvious that there will be a big change in the equation of Maharashtra, which will affect all the parties. Till now there were tones of unity in the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). But if both the brothers come together, then the alliance in MVA can break.

MVA's constituent parties will not accept Raj Thackeray

It is being speculated that the constituents of Mahavikas Aghadi, NCP (Sharad Pawar) and Congress will not accept Raj Thackeray in their alliance. In such a situation, if Uddhav Thackeray still goes with Raj Thackeray, then he will have to leave Mahavikas Aghadi and form a separate alliance with Raj Thackeray. This break will have a big impact on MVA. However, by joining with Raj Thackeray, the strength of Shiv Sena (UBT) is sure to increase in Maharashtra.

An alliance between the two can happen at this time because both the parties have the same opinion on the dispute between Marathi language and Hindi language in Maharashtra. In such a situation, if both the parties together oppose the decision of the government, then it can create obstacles in the decision of the government. This can create problems for the Maharashtra government and can also hurt the MVA.

Shiv Sena UBT falling vote share

The falling share of votes is becoming a cause of concern for Shiv Sena (UBT). On the other hand, if we look at Raj Thackeray's party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena or MNS, his party could not win even a single seat in the Maharashtra assembly elections. But, MNS also has a good share of votes. Shiv Sena (UBT) can take advantage of this in the BMC elections.

Strong contenders of Shiv Sena (UBT) are joining Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena one by one. This is the reason why Shiv Sena UBT is losing its strong contenders even before the BMC elections. If Shiv Sena (UBT) forms alliance with MNS, then the party leaders will be assured of the party's survival and the ground workers of MNS will also benefit Uddhav Thackeray and his party.

MNS and UBT will benefit in the municipal polls if they come together

Municipal elections are going to be held soon in Maharashtra. If MNS and UBT come together, then they will get direct benefit in the municipal elections. The hold of these two parties is more at the ground level than the ruling Mahayuti. This will prove to be a threat to the Mahayuti. Once both the parties come together, the trend of leaders leaving the Shiv Sena UBT will stop and the alliance will be strengthened.

Therefore, if Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena and Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena UBT join hands and form an alliance, then a strong alliance will emerge in Maharashtra. This alliance will become a tension for the Mahayuti. Along with this, a big change will be seen in the politics of Maharashtra.
