One of the main centers of attraction was the historic 250-year-old Khatlapura Hanuman Temple, where the flow of devotees continued unabated since early morning. Long queues were seen outside the temple premises as people arrived with offerings and wishes. According to popular belief, any wish made sincerely at this temple is granted, which draws thousands of devotees each year.
Traditional rituals, including chanting of Hanuman Chalisa and special aartis, were performed with great enthusiasm. Temples were decorated with flowers and lights, creating a festive and devotional atmosphere.
Bhandaras organized
The celebrations were not limited to temple visits. Across Bhopal, several communities organized bhandaars (mass feasts), providing food to thousands of people as a form of religious service and community bonding. The day concluded with fireworks displays at various locations, adding a joyous touch to the spiritual fervor.
Religious processions were taken out from various places and traffic remained diverted on many routes. Police and volunteers were deployed to manage the large crowds and ensure the smooth conduct of the events.
