After suffering a heart attack, Narendra Saluja was taken to a nearby hospital by family members, where he died during treatment. Narendra Saluja had gone to attend a wedding program at a resort in Sehore two days ago. He started getting nervous there. Indore Congress leader Surjit Singh Chaddha was also with him. After this, he left for Indore. On Wednesday, around 3 pm, he suddenly felt dizzy, after which he fainted. He was hurriedly admitted to the hospital on Khandwa Road where he breathed his last.
Saluja's last tweet
BJP spokesperson Narendra Saluja made the last tweet on social media platform X at 2:54 pm. In this, he wished Akshaya Tritiya. Along with this, he also wished birthday to some people including BJP leaders. Shortly after this, the bad news of his death came.
Left Cong in 2022
Narendra Saluja left Congress and joined BJP on 25 November 2022. Saluja, who was in Congress for a long time, was considered very close to former Chief Minister Kamal Nath and he had been the state media coordinator in Congress.
Saluja joined BJP in the presence of then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Forest Minister Vijay Shah. At that time, Saluja's departure to BJP was a big setback for the Congress. After joining BJP, Saluja was made the state spokesperson.
How Nath and Saluja Fell Apart
Prakash Parv was organized in Khalsa College, Indore, Kamal Nath also participated in the Kirtan program there. There the officials handed him a saropa. On this, a kirtankar had opposed his honor. The kirtankar had blamed Kamal Nath for the Sikh riots in 1984.
Due to this controversy, Kamal Nath was also angry with Narendra Saluja. Disciplinary action was taken against him. Congress had then accused Saluja of plotting a conspiracy. Saluja's entry into the PCC headquarters was also banned.
On Saluja joining the BJP, Congress had issued a statement that he had not left the Congress, he had been expelled. Whereas Saluja kept saying that he was joining the BJP inspired by its ideology.
