Arunachal Pradesh, Indonesia jolted early Sunday morning

 


An earthquake was felt in India's Arunachal Pradesh early this morning, while an earthquake has also occurred in Indonesia's Sumatra, the magnitude in Arunachal Pradesh was 3.8 and in Sumatra it was 4.6. The National Seismological Center said that an earthquake of magnitude 3.8 on the Richter scale has occurred in Dibang Valley of Arunachal Pradesh at 05:06 am Indian Standard Time (IST).

The intensity of the earthquake in Arunachal Pradesh was low, due to which there is no news of any loss of life or large-scale damage at the moment. These tremors of the earthquake were felt in Dibang Valley of Arunachal Pradesh, after feeling the tremors of the earthquake, there was an atmosphere of panic among the local people for some time.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 on the Richter Scale hit Dibang Valley, Arunachal Pradesh at 05:06, according to National Center for Seismology.

4.6 magnitude earthquake in Indonesia

The National Center for Seismology (NCS) said that on Sunday, May 18, at around 2:50 am, earthquakes were felt in North Sumatra, Indonesia, the epicenter of the earthquake was found at a depth of 58 kilometers. Its intensity was measured at 4.6 on the Richter scale. There is no news of any major damage due to the earthquake in Sumatra so far, but the administration is keeping an eye on the situation.
