Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni has left the entertainment industry. Now she has become a Sadhvi, but people are angry about her love for Pakistanis. There is a tense atmosphere between India and Pakistan. Meanwhile, Mamta Kulkarni has given a statement that I love Muslims. She told that when she was a Bollywood actress, she used to get 50 letters from fans in Pakistan in a day. She also said that she has received a lot of love from Pakistani Muslims and Muslims in Dubai.

Mamta Kulkarni said that I have a lot of love for Muslims in my heart, they have also given me a lot of love. Especially in Dubai, my spiritual practice lasted for 25 years. During this time I got a lot of peace and love there. She further said that when I was a Bollywood superstar, people from Pakistan used to send me letters. I used to get 50 letters every day. So yes, I have deep love for Muslims in my heart. But I have no love for terrorists. They have no religion or sect.

This statement by Mamta Kulkarni has gone viral on social media. Her affection for Pakistanis has angered many in India. Mamta Kulkarni is facing criticism online, with some advising her to abandon spirituality and read Muslim religious texts.

Users are saying that she should not pretend to be a Sadhvi, if she loves Muslims then she should adopt Islam. 

Mamta Kulkarni has worked in many great films in Bollywood in the 90s. Fans of her beauty are still present. In the Maha Kumbh held in 2025, she decided to become a Sadhvi and became the Mahamandleshwar of the Kinnar Akhara.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
