IPL 2025: The 58th match of this season between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DL) in IPL 2025 was cancelled.
Due to the attack by Pakistan, the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals being played at HPCA ground in Dharamshala was cancelled. BCCI confirmed this through a social media post. Players and support staff will be evacuated from Dharamshala via special train. The special train will leave from Pathankot on Friday.
The reason for the cancellation of this match was the drone attack by Pakistan. After this the Board of Control for Cricket in India confirmed this through a social media post. As soon as Pakistan made an evil attempt of drone attack in Indian cities, Dharamshala players and spectators were evacuated.
Decision to continue the tournament will be taken on Friday
BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla said- 'We are arranging a special train to evacuate everyone from Dharamshala. The decision to continue the tournament will be taken today. At present, the safety of the players is most important. It was not possible to have a match in Dharamsala amid Indo-Pak tension.'
After the attack by Pakistan, all the floodlights of the ground were turned off and all the spectators were taken out. While coming out of the ground, the fans raised slogans of Pakistan Murdabad.
