Ahmedabad Plane Crash: Over 290 people have died in a horrific plane crash in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. But the life of Bhumi Chauhan, a resident of Ahmedabad, was saved due to the busy traffic of Ahmedabad.
Actually Bhumi was also among the passengers going to London, but she missed her flight after reaching a few minutes late.
It is now clear that in the accident of Air India flight AI-171 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, except one passenger, none of the crew members and other passengers survived. 265 people lost their lives in this accident. But among the passengers travelling in the flight, one lady was lucky that her life was saved due to the busy traffic of Ahmedabad. The traffic saved her.
Due to being stuck in traffic, Bhumi Chauhan reached Sardar Vallabhbhai Airport in Ahmedabad with a delay of 10 minutes. As she arrived late, she was not allowed to board the flight from Ahmedabad to London. Then she had also pleaded with the airport authority, citing the reason of being stuck in traffic, and appealed to be allowed to board the plane. Talking to the media outside the airport, Bhumi Chauhan said that the takeoff time of her flight was scheduled at 1:10 pm.
By the time she came out of the airport, the plane had crashed
Bhumi Chauhan said that when she came out of the airport, she was informed that the plane in which she was going to London had crashed. After getting the information of this accident, Bhumi shivered badly. Her legs started shaking. She remained in shock for a long time. Bhumi Chauhan said that she missed her flight due to a delay of just ten minutes. When she reached the exit gate outside the airport sadly, only then she came to know that the flight which she missed had crashed as soon as it took off. (Prakash Kumar Pandey)
