PM Narendra Modi reaches Ahmedabad plane crash site


Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday visited the place in Ahmedabad where the Air India plane crashed on Thursday. He was accompanied by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.

First of all, PM Modi visited the site of the incident and assessed the ground situation. After this, he went to the Civil Hospital, where he met the victims for about 10 minutes. He will also meet the relatives of the deceased.

Over 1000 DNA tests will be done to identify the bodies

Home Minister Amit Shah said that more than 1000 DNA tests will be done to identify the bodies. Gujarat has the capacity to conduct such a large number of tests.

Shah, who reached Ahmedabad after the incident, said, "The work of removing the bodies of almost all the passengers has been completed. Due to the presence of 1.25 lakh liters of fuel, the temperature was so high that there was no possibility of saving anyone."

An Air India passenger plane crashed in Ahmedabad on Thursday. The plane crashed in a residential area shortly after taking off for London.
