Second death due to corona infection has occurred in Madhya Pradesh. A 45-year-old woman from Khargone district, who was admitted to a hospital in Indore, has succumbed to the infection. The woman was 9 months pregnant and died due to difficulty in breathing during her delivery.
On Thursday, the woman suddenly started having seizures during the operation of cesarean delivery (LSCS). Seeing her deteriorating condition, she was immediately put on a breathing machine. However, her condition continued to become critical and she died. Later when her corona RT-PCR test report came, she was found positive
However, the District Health Department of Indore has said that the main cause of the woman's death was not corona infection, but complications during cesarean delivery.
Total number of infected has risen to 53
Currently, the total number of infected has increased to 53 after 3 new cases of corona were registered in Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, the number of active cases in the state is now 32.
Earlier, the first death case from corona in the state was reported in Indore on 21 April. At that time, two new cases of Covid infection were found, including a young man and an elderly woman. Both were admitted to a private hospital in the city. Both the patients already had other serious diseases. Of these, the condition of the elderly woman was more serious, and she died.
Total 9 cases in Bhopal
Three corona cases were registered in the capital Bhopal on the Covid-19 dashboard. However, the capital's CMHO (Chief Medical and Health Officer) Dr. Prabhakar Tiwari says that not three, but 9 corona cases have been reported in Bhopal so far. He told that 1 positive case was found in April, 3 in May and 5 in June. Currently there are 4 active cases in Bhopal, out of which one patient is hospitalized due to other serious diseases.
So far this year, 38 corona positive patients have been found in Indore. Out of these, 8 patients are from outside. The people whose travel history has been found so far have either returned from another city or state or had come in contact with people who had come to Indore from outside. These patients had a travel history to UK, Singapore, Goa, Delhi, Kerala, Raipur, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad etc.
