The rhetoric has once again intensified in Uttar Pradesh politics. Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav termed the Gorakhpur Link Expressway as the most expensive highway in the country and called it a mere four-lane road.
On this, Yogi government minister Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi' retorted sharply and said that 'throne can be inherited, but not intelligence.' Nandi compared Akhilesh to the Mughals and reminded him of history.
Akhilesh adopted the tradition of the Mughals
Nandi said that Netaji i.e. Mulayam Singh Yadav had devoted years to politics, but Akhilesh ignored his contribution and snatched power from his father. He alleged that Akhilesh adopted the 'tradition of the Mughals', who used to remove even their father from the throne to grab power.
The minister said that taking Akhilesh's words seriously is a waste of time. The SP chief is not aware of the development schemes of the state and he is only doing the politics of criticism.
On the occasion of the 11th International Yoga Day, a grand yoga event was organized at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj. Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi' participated in this event and practiced yoga with hundreds of people.
'It is not wrong to dream'
Recently Akhilesh Yadav had claimed that the Samajwadi Party government will be formed again in the state in 2027. Taking a dig at this, Nandi said that "It is not wrong to dream, but staying away from reality can be dangerous." He claimed that the public is with Yogi and Modi government and opposition parties are only spreading electoral confusion.
