An official said that the Ayodhya Development Authority has declared the area around the Ram temple as a restricted area under the Master Plan-2031 and has banned the construction of high-rise buildings around the Ram temple. The ADA has started putting up notice boards at various places in Ayodhya, clearly outlining the new rules and warning against unauthorized construction.

No new high-rise buildings will be allowed near Ram temple

These restrictions mean that no new high-rise building will be allowed near the Ram temple. Ayodhya Development Authority Vice President Ashwini Pandey said that the new guidelines limit the height of buildings based on their proximity to the temple. Pandey said that the height of the building in the first perimeter of two kilometers will be allowed only 7.5 meters and in the second perimeter of four kilometers, a height of 15 meters will be allowed.

He said that the purpose of these measures is to ensure that the view of the Ram temple remains uninterrupted and the development around is in accordance with the spiritual and cultural significance of the holy site.
