Bihar Assembly Election 2025: Prashant Kishor, founder of Jansuraj, said on Sunday that the candidates preparing for the UPSC exam who have not been successful yet, should contact us. Their dreams will come true by joining Jansuraj.
During a press conference at Bettiah Circuit House, Prashant Kishor said, “Jan Suraj is not a political party. It is a party formed on the lines of UPSC and BPSC, where leaders will have to give a test of their ability and on passing the exam, they will be selected as MP, MLA, Mukhiya, Zila Parishad and Ward Councilor.
Prashant Kishor said that the allocation of tickets within his party will be determined by candidates' abilities. He said that Jan Suraj is a party grounded in ideology, committed to distributing tickets based on merit.
Rigorous selection process for candidates
Drawing a parallel with the UPSC examinations, he said that countless youth take these exams, and those who demonstrate capability are selected as Collectors and Superintendents of Police. Similarly, in the BPSC, capable youth pass the exams to become officers. In this context, Jan Suraj aims to recognize and assess the abilities of young candidates through a rigorous selection process.
Kishor said that the party is assessing how many candidates are eligible to contest in the assembly elections, how many ward councilors will run, how many will become Mukhiya, and how many will become district councillors. The party is identifying all of these persons and will ensure they contest elections in positions that align with their abilities, with the goal of building a better society.
Candidates will be selected on the lines of UPSC. Till date, there is no such political party in India in which leaders have to pass the examination on the lines of UPSC to contest elections. Those who fail will have to contest the election of ward councillor at the lowest post.
Just as youth prepare for the UPSC examination, Jan Suraj similarly evaluates the abilities of young candidates. The party is conducting assessments to test the candidates' capabilities.
