Bihar Assembly Election-2025: Will Prashant Kishor transform bipolar political battle into a triangular one

Bihar Assembly Election-2025: A key election for the NDA and INDIA alliance will be held in Bihar at the end of the year. Prashant Kishor, who has turned from an election strategist to a politician, is trying to transform this bipolar political battle into a triangular one. To a large extent, his hard work on the ground seems to be paying off.

However, those who understand Bihar politics explain the political equation with the saying "Jaat bhi ghaaya aur bhaat bhi nahi khaya". This means that the vote was given to a candidate of another caste, but no one is ready to accept it. This simply means that caste dominates Bihar politics. Prashant Kishor is struggling to end this political casteism.

PK has made it clear that he will not join any alliance. Will contest elections on all 243 seats. But the question is whether Prashant Kishor will enter the electoral fray? Election strategist turned politician Kishor has not contested any election yet. However, he has been getting elections contested. Prashant Kishor is the pivot of the politics of Jan Suraj. The politics of Jan Suraj revolves around him. Therefore, he will have to campaign all over Bihar.

Will PK contest from RJD's stronghold?

On the question of contesting the elections himself, Prashant Kishor says that I am ready to play whatever role the party decides. If the party asks me to contest the elections, I will contest. On the question of the seat, he says that he will contest from Raghopur.

Tejashwi Yadav is the MLA from Raghopur assembly seat. RJD has occupied this seat for decades. Earlier, Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi have also reached the assembly from Raghopur. In such a situation, if Prashant Kishor chooses Raghopur seat for himself, then the fight will become interesting.

Grand Alliance labeled PK as BJP's B team

As soon as PK announced to contest from Raghopur seat, Grand Alliance leaders began campaigning, labeling Prashant Kishor as BJP's B team. PK later said that after contesting against Tejashwi, he would run against Narendra Modi. There is a specific strategic reason behind Kishor's statements, which can be likened to the 'Arvind Kejriwal model.'

Arvind Kejriwal had also entered the electoral battle in Delhi with a slogan of change, first contesting against the then Chief Minister Sheila Dixit, followed by a challenge against Narendra Modi. Notably Prashant Kishor is selecting Tejashwi's seat because Nitish Kumar is a member of the Legislative Council and does not contest elections.

All eyes on Prashant Kishor's seat

All eyes are on Prashant Kishor's seat in Bihar elections. Especially when he contests from Raghopur seat. Tejashwi Yadav's victory from Raghopur seat is considered certain, because the political and caste equation here is favorable to RJD.

Will PK choose Buxar?

In such a situation, there is a discussion that Prashant Kishor can also choose the election ground of Buxar for himself. Because the caste equation here suits Prashant Kishor. Congress's Munna Tiwari, who belongs to the upper caste, is currently the MLA from Buxar seat. Apart from this, Prashant Kishor studied here till 12th. He also has his own house in Buxar.
