Chief Minister Dr. Yadav invited Spanish production companies to shoot in Madhya Pradesh, highlighting the state's diverse landscapes, supportive government policies, and film-friendly environment. He also presented a token of honor to Shri Juan-Manuel Guimeráns during the meeting.
Spanish filmmakers to conduct location scouting visits
The Spanish Film Commission shared details about the various incentives, subsidies, and facilities available to foreign film productions in Spain, aimed at fostering future cooperation. Dr. Yadav showcased Madhya Pradesh’s scenic and versatile locations along with the state’s proactive film policies, making it an ideal destination for international productions. He also invited Spanish filmmakers to conduct location scouting visits to the state.
Collaboration in skill development and technical training
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasised the need for collaboration in skill development and technical training in areas such as post-production, VFX, and scriptwriting. Discussions also included launching short-term courses and exchange programs in partnership with leading Spanish film institutions.
The idea of hosting a ‘Madhya Pradesh Film Showcase’ in Spain was also proposed, aimed at presenting the state's creative strengths and filming locations to the global industry. The meeting marks the beginning of a new chapter in Indo-Spanish film collaboration and is expected to pave the way for exciting joint projects in the near future.
