In the fourth Test being played between India and England in Manchester, India's wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant has come on the field to bat despite being injured.
Pant came on the field to bat after Shardul Thakur's wicket fell.
When Pant came to bat, the audience stood up and greeted him.
Earlier media reports said Rishabh Pant was out of the Test series being played against England as the scan report showed the fracture. However, the fact that Pant batted in the first innings shows the injury is not so serious that it may stop him form playing.
Dhruv Jurel given the responsibility of wicketkeeping
BCCI said, 'Rishabh Pant suffered an injury to his right leg on the first day of the Manchester Test. For this reason, he will no longer do wicketkeeping in this Test match. Dhruv Jurel has been given the responsibility of wicketkeeping in his place.'
Host England is leading the series 2-1.
