In a pointed rebuttal to growing speculation of internal strife, the Jharkhand Congress today reaffirmed party unity and accused the BJP and select media houses of engineering a “coordinated campaign” to discredit the Mahagathbandhan government and its ministers.
Dismissing the swirl of recent controversies, Congress leaders insisted that the party remains structurally intact and ideologically focused.
State Congress president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh extended birthday wishes to national president Mallikarjun Kharge on turning 83, stating that under his leadership the party’s resolve has strengthened.
Everything is fine among the alliance partners
Keshav Mahato Kamlesh on Monday said that everything is fine among the alliance partners in the government. All the MLAs and ministers are united under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Kamlesh alleged that for the last few days, efforts are being made to propagate misleading information about the organization and the ministers.
Misleading news about Deepika Pandey Singh staging a dharna
The state Congress president told reporters, "Recently, misleading news was spread about Rural Development Minister Deepika Pandey Singh staging a dharna in front of officials and Health Minister Irfan Ansari's son inspecting the RIMS hospital. Efforts are being made to take political advantage of misleading information." He said that the coalition government is completely united.
CM had expressed displeasure over video
Recently, a video of Congress leader and Jharkhand Health Minister Irfan Ansari's son went viral, in which Ansari's son had gone to inspect a hospital. It was also revealed that Ansari's son was giving instructions to the doctors in the hospital. Not only this, it can be seen in the video that a young man tells the patient that if there is any problem, tell him. He is Irfan Ansari's elder son. There were reports that CM Soren had expressed displeasure after the video went viral.
Keshav Mahato, however, clarified that Ansari's son neither issued instructions nor interfered with hospital operations and termed the episode a politically motivated exaggeration.
Raising issues of public interest is a responsibility
Kamlesh said, "Everything is fine among the coalition partners and everyone including MLAs and ministers are united in the government led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. He said that raising issues of public interest is not an expression of anger towards the government but the voice of the public, which the Congress fulfills responsibly. The Congress leader said that the government is fully committed to solving the issues of the public, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) tries to politicize every issue.
Bhagidari Nyay Sammelan on July 25
Congress state president Mahato said that the OBC cell of the All India Congress Committee is going to organize 'Bhagidari Nyay Sammelan' at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi on July 25. Kamlesh said that hundreds of workers of Other Backward Classes (OBC) community from all the districts of Jharkhand will participate in this program.
