In the series of processions of Shri Mahakaleshwar in the month of Shravan / Bhadrapad, on the third Monday, 28th July, Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar will go on a city tour of Ujjain in the form of Shri Chandramouleshwar in a palanquin, in the form of Shri Manmahesh on an elephant, and in the form of Shri Shiv-Tandav on a Garuda chariot to know the condition of his subjects.
Roshan Kumar Singh, President of the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee, informed that before the procession of Shri Mahakaleshwar Bhagwan begins, a proper worship ritual of Lord Shri Chandramouleshwar will be performed in the Sabhamandap of the temple.
Following the worship, Lord Shri Chandramouleshwar will be seated in a palanquin and taken on a city tour. At the temple’s main gate, armed police personnel will present a ceremonial salute to the Lord seated in the palanquin.
