At least 10 cities of Madhya Pradesh will be developed on the lines of Indore. These cities will consider Indore as a role model in terms of cleanliness and will make similar action plans so that these cities also come first in the country.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said this to the ministers during the informal cabinet in the assembly premises on Tuesday. The CM congratulated Indore and other cities for coming first in terms of cleanliness.
During this, the Chief Minister congratulated on the occasion of Nag Panchami festival and said that a state level program will be organized on the occasion of Janmashtami.
CM Mohan Yadav said that with the aim of encouraging tourism investment in the state, more than 80 major tour operators participated in the Regional Tourism Conclave held in Rewa on 26 and 27 July. The conclave focused on wildlife and offbeat destinations in Rewa .
MP Travel Mart will be organized in Bhopal
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that the MP Travel Mart will be held in Bhopal from October 11 to 13. This event aims to promote tourism in the state by providing a platform for stakeholders in the tourism sector, including hotel owners, resort owners, transport operators, and travel tour operators, to showcase and discuss their tourism products.
As part of the preparations for the Travel Mart, a Regional Tourism Conclave will be organized in Gwalior on August 12-13 and in Indore on September 20-21. These conclaves are intended to serve as a precursor to the MP Travel Mart.
Major waterfalls and unique destinations to be developed
Chief Minister Yadav highlighted plans to develop major waterfalls and unique destinations in the state, such as Dharmarajeshwar in Mandsaur, from a tourism perspective. He also discussed the significance of the Mahakaleshwar Temple in the context of Nag Panchami and emphasized the faith shared by the people of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra in Nagdwari, located in Pachmarhi.
